En Octubre de 2011, dos autores de ciencia ficción crearon y forjaron la idea de recopilar relatos con la intención de crear la Primera Antología Steampunk escrita íntegramente en español por autores consagrados y noveles de España e Hispanoamérica.
Pero muchos buenos relatos enviados a convocatoria se quedaron en el camino…
Vinculado directamente a ese proyecto, el Plan B surge inicialmente como solución editorial para los autores de esas historias.
Posteriormente, y mediante autoedición, el plan B pretenderá crear un soporte para tantos otros escritores noveles de ciencia ficción y fantasía que se quieran dar a conocer en el mundo literario.
